E. Moreira StudioThis Privacy Policy explains how E. Moreira Studio ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use LineTalk, a mobile tool for writing scripts, recording takes, reviewing video, and exporting your work.
1. Overview
LineTalk is designed to work without an account. We do not require you to provide your name, email address, password, phone number, or profile information to use the core app. Your scripts, recordings, edits, and app settings are intended to remain on your device unless you choose to export, share, back up, or contact us.
2. Information stored on your device
LineTalk may store content locally on your device, including script titles and text, favorites, recording settings, saved takes, trim or edit choices, playback preferences, and other app state needed to provide the experience. This local information is not collected by E. Moreira Studio to identify you.
3. Camera and microphone permissions
LineTalk requests camera and microphone access only when you choose to record a take. The camera is used to capture video and the microphone is used to capture audio for that recording. You can deny or revoke either permission at any time in your device settings. If you do, recording features may be unavailable or limited.
4. Photos, videos, and media access
When you choose to save, import, export, or share media, LineTalk may use the media or file permissions provided by your device. This access is used to complete the action you selected, such as saving a recorded take to your photo library or selecting media you want to work with. The app does not upload your recordings or scripts to E. Moreira Studio as part of its core functionality.
5. Sharing and exports
If you export or share a script, video, or audio recording, you control that action. The receiving app, platform, cloud backup, social network, or storage provider may process the content according to its own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing that provider's privacy terms before sharing sensitive content.
6. Analytics, diagnostics, and advertising
LineTalk's core experience is not designed to sell your personal information or create an advertising profile from your scripts and recordings. If we use platform crash reporting or diagnostic tools, they may process limited technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version, and crash or performance data to help us maintain and improve the app. This technical information is handled according to the relevant platform provider's policies.
7. Data retention and deletion
Content stored by LineTalk remains on your device until you delete it in the app, delete the exported media from your device, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Because LineTalk does not require an account for its core features, we generally cannot access or delete content stored on your device remotely.
8. Security
We use reasonable measures appropriate to the app's design. However, no device, application, or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your device with the security features offered by your operating system, especially if your recordings or scripts contain private information.
9. Children's privacy
LineTalk is not directed to children under the age at which they can provide consent under applicable law. If you believe that a child has provided personal information directly to us through support communications, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to LineTalk, its permissions, platform requirements, or legal obligations. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will show when the policy was most recently revised.
