Privacy Policy for My Dog Card

Last updated: June 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how E. Moreira Studio handles information related to My Dog Card, a mobile dog discovery and collectible card app.

Overview

My Dog Card lets you use your device camera and optional location features to create a personal collection of dog cards. The app does not require account registration for its core experience, and E. Moreira Studio does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, password, or physical address inside the basic app experience.

The app is designed so your dog cards, captured images, collection progress, missions, events, settings, and related app data can be kept on your device unless you choose to share, export, or send information through features outside the app.

Information the app may store locally

My Dog Card may store information locally on your device, such as dog card images, card names or labels, collectible stats, rarity details, album progress, missions, events, daily goals, settings, tutorial state, counters, and discovery history.

If you grant location permission, the app may also store location-related information locally, such as a place, route, discovery area, approximate coordinates, or a location tag connected to a dog card or discovery event.

This local information is used to provide app features, remember your collection, organize discoveries, and improve the app experience. Local app information is not used by E. Moreira Studio to personally identify you.

Camera permission

My Dog Card may request access to your device camera so you can capture or scan dog moments and create collectible dog cards.

The camera is used only when you choose to open a camera-related feature in the app. Photos or images captured or selected for cards may be stored on your device as part of your local card collection.

You can deny or revoke camera permission at any time in your device settings. If camera permission is disabled, camera-based card creation and discovery features may not work, but other parts of the app may still be available.

Location permission

My Dog Card may request location permission to support features such as nearby discovery, map context, place-based memories, events, routes, or tagging where a dog card was discovered.

Location permission is optional. The app uses location features only when permission is granted by you through the device operating system. Depending on your device settings, the app may receive precise or approximate location information.

You can deny or revoke location permission at any time in your device settings. If location permission is disabled, location-based discovery, map, event, or tagging features may be limited or unavailable.

Photos, sharing, and exports

Photos and dog card images used by the app may remain on your device as part of the app's local storage or your device photo storage, depending on how you capture, save, or import them.

If you choose to share, export, message, email, back up, or post a dog card or image using your device or another service, that action is controlled by you and may be handled by third-party apps, platforms, cloud backups, or services outside E. Moreira Studio. Those services have their own privacy practices.

Advertising

My Dog Card may display ads through Google AdMob or similar advertising partners. Ads may include rewarded ads, interstitial ads, banner ads, or other ad formats.

Advertising partners may collect and use information such as device identifiers, advertising ID, IP address, approximate location, ad interactions, diagnostics, and other data needed to deliver, measure, personalize, and improve ads, depending on your device settings, Google settings, consent choices, and applicable law.

The in-app location permission described above is separate from advertising-related approximate location that ad partners may infer from network or device information under their own policies.

You can learn more about Google's advertising practices at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Rewarded ads

The app may offer optional rewarded ads, such as watching an ad to receive in-app rewards, mission bonuses, event boosts, or collectible progress.

Rewarded ads are optional. Rewards are granted only when the ad is completed according to the advertising provider's rules.

Analytics and diagnostics

The app may use store, platform, crash reporting, analytics, or advertising provider tools to understand performance, crashes, ad delivery, and general usage. This information helps maintain, protect, and improve the app.

Analytics and diagnostics may include technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, crash logs, performance data, and general interaction events. These tools are not used by E. Moreira Studio to create a user profile inside My Dog Card.

Third-party services

The app may use third-party services, including Google Play services, Google AdMob, device camera APIs, device location services, map or platform services, crash reporting, analytics, and app store services. These services operate under their own privacy policies and retention practices.

Data retention

Local My Dog Card data remains on your device until you delete it, uninstall the app, clear app storage/data, remove cards or images where the app provides that option, or change storage through your device settings.

If you contact us by email for support or privacy requests, we may retain that communication for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, resolve the request, keep appropriate records, and comply with legal obligations.

Your choices

You can control camera access, location access, photo access, notifications, advertising choices, and other permissions through your device settings, Google account settings, Google Play settings, and any consent prompts shown in the app or by third-party services.

You may choose approximate location instead of precise location where your operating system provides that option.

You may avoid optional rewarded ads by not selecting ad-based rewards.

You can reset or limit your advertising ID through your device settings where available.

Children's privacy

My Dog Card is not intended for children under the age required by applicable local law to consent to data processing. If a child uses the app, a parent or guardian should review permissions, camera use, location use, sharing choices, and device privacy settings.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app, permissions, advertising, analytics, platform services, legal requirements, or our practices. When changes are made, the updated policy will show a new "Last updated" date.
